Arm Balance & Inversion Workshop
Join Pamela Collier, E-RYT-200, RYT-500, YACEP Instructor, as she guides you through this 1.5 hour workshop, to progress step-by-step towards adding arm balances & inversions into your practice.
She will guide you on how to build strength, balance, and body awareness, while covering a range of topics related to holding your arms balances & inversions!
You'll learn:
🤸♀️How to get into arm balances, crow, headstand, forearm stand, eight angle and more.
🤸Proper warmups for your joints & body.
🤸♀️How to create flexibility & strength.
🤸♂️Overcoming fear & mental blocks.

Standing Balances and Binds
Join Kara for a dynamic workshop focused on some of her favorite poses: standing balances and binds!
This session will include a warm-up vinyasa sequence and focus on specific binds and standing balances, and is suitable for all levels. Some poses to expect are shoelace pose, floor bow, warrior III, dancer, revolved half moon, eagle, and more!
We will focus on breath awareness, core engagement, alignment, and mindful use of props. Come hop, step, wobble, and have fun!
First Friday Free Flow
Join Us for a Free Community Yoga Class at The YOGA Loft!
Held on the first Friday of each month at 5:30 PM, this 60-minute beginner-friendly class is designed for everyone—whether you're new to yoga or looking to refresh your practice. We'll flow through foundational yoga poses, focusing on alignment, breath, and mindfulness. You’ll leave feeling balanced, grounded, and refreshed in a welcoming community atmosphere.
All levels are welcome, no experience required. Just bring your mat, a smile, and a willingness to explore!
Candlelight Eve: Nidra and Sound Bath
Experience the magic of a candlelit evening designed to bring you peace and stillness during the heart of the season. Join Whitney and Kara for a 75-minute journey of relaxation, beginning with a deeply restorative Yoga Nidra practice to calm your mind and soothe your body. Then, allow the gentle tones of a sound bath to envelop you, creating space for reflection, renewal, and connection.
Held in a serene, glowing setting, this special class offers a moment of calm amidst the busyness, leaving you feeling grounded and refreshed. Open to all, this is your time to rest, restore, and embrace the beauty of the season.

Community Block Party
Grab your blocks or ours and join Kara for a fun, 60-minute, FREE community class designed to enhance your practice through the mindful, fun, and creative use of blocks! We will explore how blocks can support and deepen poses, creating more stability, accessibility, alignment, and range of motion.
Bring your curiosity and questions. Expect to hop, step, wobble, and explore how to enhance your practice with these versatile props! Expect laughter, community vibes, and the opportunity to connect with your body and blocks in fun ways.
This class is for all levels. Please note that this is not a flow-style class. We will warm up, but the focus will be on utilizing blocks in specific poses.
If time, there will be a short savasana at the end of this workshop.

Join us for book club on Sunday, October 27 at 5:30 PM! Feel free to bring a snack, dessert, or appetizer if you’d like, and don’t forget to bring your own drink. The only requirement is YOU!

Earth & Energy Healing: Yoga, Reiki, Chakras, and Nature’s Medicine
Immerse yourself in this transformative workshop where Sylvie and Kara Smith partner to bring you a holistic healing experience rooted in the earth and energy. Through a powerful combination of Restorative Yoga, Reiki energy, Chakra balancing, and plant-based healing, you will restore balance to your body, mind, and spirit, while connecting with the natural world.
Kara Smith, a Reiki Master, Shaman, and Clairvoyant, brings deep spiritual insight to her practice. Often, during healing sessions, loved ones in spirit may come through with messages. In this sacred space, you are invited to open yourself to their guidance and love—are you receptive to the messages they might share?
This workshop also features a session on nature’s medicine, where you will explore the benefits of plant-based remedies such as herbs and essential oils to support the health of your chakras and overall vitality. Each element of this experience is designed to realign your energy with nature, helping you reconnect with the earth’s healing power.
Poetry in Motion
This 90-minute workshop explores the connections between creativity, breath, and movement. You will be guided through meditation, journaling prompts, and yogic movement and breathwork. Poetry reading will be threaded throughout the workshop. Everyone is encouraged to explore creativity in their unique way--writing, drawing, doodling, etc.
Dress comfortably and bring your favorite journal and writing utensil(s). Community time after with light refreshments.
50% of all profits from this workshop will be donated to New Kids on the Books, which provides reading materials to children in need in Wake County and surrounding communities.
Fall Equinox
